We work in close relationship with one of the finest professional mountain guides in Switzerland and together have been standing above 4000m, climbed and belayed, all with safety as the upmost priority.
We are always been happy to offer information and assistance to help you organise a more adventurous and memorable holiday. It is our passion and it is what we love, so why not share it!
The possibilities are huge. And we have hiked pretty much every path there is in the area. With plenty of information, maps and suggestions waiting for you in the Chalets your hiking holidays will be a success for sure. We’re also more than happy to tailor, together with you, some of the hikes and have suggestions on how to amend the normal routes to meet your requirements should you wish to avoid steep down hill sections for example.

Ever wondered how it feels to be close to a glacier crevasse or always wanted to traverse a glacier and have a look down into the endless ice? Together with a professional guide, you will learn the dangers and the beauty of one of the world’s most famous glaciers, the Aletsch. This activity is for everyone and for children from the age of 5-6 years depending on their hiking ability and experience.
This is a full day activity and the glacier is about 1h 15 minutes drive from the chalets.
How many times have you looked up and wished that one day you will be standing on top of a 4000m peak? Why not just do it? There are several easy 4000m peaks reachable on a day trip from the chalets, so make this dream a reality. Together with a professional mountain guide, you and your family or friends have the possibility to climb some of Switzerland’s finest 4000m peaks. Depending on your experience the choice is huge but whether it is an easy, moderate or difficult peak they all have the special “something” that one can only explain having reached the summit. An adventure you will never forget.
For more advanced peaks some experience in mountaineering is necessary and the climbs are longer and harder.
You will normally return to the starting point in the afternoon. Contact us for more information and to find a guide.
If you’re looking for a bit more of an extreme mountain hike but are not interested in proper rock climbing, then the Via Ferrata or “iron road” is the perfect activity for you. It is a protected climbing route that allows the relatively inexperienced a means of enjoying the dramatic views and accessing difficult peaks and routes which normally need the expertise of a mountain guide.
Not far from the chalets are several Via Ferrata for you to discover within max 1 hour’s drive. Although there is no experience needed, a good head for heights, basic technique, and some force are the requirements a Via Ferrata route demands. It can be seen as a distinct step up from ordinary mountain hiking. If you have never tried it enjoy a Via Ferrata together with our recommended professional mountain guides.
Nendaz and its surroundings offer a vast variety of tracks with over 200km of varied itineraries to please all mountain bikers. During the season when the lifts are open, bikes travel free of charge so you can save your energy and take the 1st stage of your trip with some help.
There are also several downhill routes available here in Nendaz, in Verbier or even over at Crans Montana. Quality bike rental is available in Nendaz.
PLUS E-mountain bikes!! Certainly not a gimmick, but offering assistance to those who have stopped mountain biking due to difficulty. For some of us mountain biking is just too hard but having one member of the family always out on the bike is also not fun. The brand new electric mountain bikes give you the possibility to overcome these very hard climbs with a bit of help. Contact us for more details.
Our chalets are situated above hundreds of vineyards stretching all the way from Lake Geneva to Salgesch, the capital of wine making in the Valais.
