Nendaz is one of the best kept secrets in the 4 Valleys Switzerland – 4 Vallées ski Domain. It lies at the centre of the Mont Fort 4 Vallées Ski Domain, and is the perfect starting point to explore this big mountain ski area.

You have the possibility to ski at a cheaper price by purchasing only the local Printse area pass which also includes Veysonnaz and Thyon. Or you can upgrade your pass and access the large 4 Vallées ski domain directly joining the Mont Fort and Verbier lift systems.

The Mont-Fort at 3330m symbolises the peak of the 4 Vallées Ski domain which always offers excellent skiing conditions. There are two levels of lift pass – the Printse local area which covers Nendaz, Siviez, Thyon and Veysonnaz and the 4 Vallées ski pass which is required for the Mont Fort cable car and for skiing over to Verbier. In total there are over 400km of marked trails to enjoy.

Nendaz offers a great variety of different snow activities for children to discover and Tracouet rolls out the white carpet. Children of all ages can use the free of charge facilities such as the tubing, magic carpet lift and the snow carousel. Similar facilities are also available in Siviez.

We have partnered up with a great local ski school which guarantees our guests professional, fun and competitively priced lessons. On group lessons, if a booking is made through us, you will receive 10% discount.

The ski schools have instructors who teach in a variety of languages and early booking is advised to ensure an instructor in a language of your choice.

Peak season private lessons MUST be booked well in advance.
Good to know is that afternoon lessons are less full and often available on a last minute basis.

If you are in search of freedom, untouched nature and powder snow, then you’re in the perfect ski domain and will find what you’re looking for. Les 4 Vallées is the largest ski domain within Switzerland and offers plenty of itinerary pistes (ungroomed and uncontrolled pistes) and off-piste possibilities.
Freeride information

Probably one of the most fun activities for all ages. Nendaz offers at Tortin, next to the ski piste, a 3km long sledge run accessible by foot or even better by the chairlift. A good way to end a skiing day is a fun trip down on a sledge.
At Nendaz village there is a great free of charge learning hill. Ideal for sledging and the first try on skis.
Sledges can be rented at the local sportshop.

A unique experience is to discover the winter wonderland by foot. Dedicated and marked ski tours and snowshoe paths will guide you through the woods and along some breathtaking scenery.
Mountain guides offer more advanced tours which are available on request. Early booking essential during peak weeks.

There are two paths in the woods: one is designed for beginners (4 km), the other will accommodate more experienced skiers (6 km). These trails are dependent on the snow conditions.
