When do I have to pay for my holiday?
Once you have decided to book with Alpine Comfort we will send you all the necessary documents by email. In order to secure your reservation, you will need to pay the 30% non-refundable deposit within 3 days of receiving all the information. The outstanding amount is then due 56 days prior to your arrival.
Do you really need all names and birth dates on the rental contract?
We need this data for security reasons and it is required by the local tourism authority and the police. The birthdates will help us charge you the correct local tourism taxes. Guests named on this form are authorised to stay in the chalet.
Can I pay for my holiday via bank transfer?
Yes, you can pay via bank transfer. All our bank details will be provided upon a confirmed reservation. Guests will be responsible for any bank charges. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that the exact amount of Swiss Francs will reach our account. Some banks transfer the money via a 3rd party which will take a commission on your transfer. Our bank does not charge any commission to receive a payment.
Can I pay by credit card?
Yes, you can pay your holiday with either Master Card or Visa. A surcharge of 3% will be added to ALL credit card payments.
What is a Security Deposit?
The amount blocked on your credit card upon arrival to cover any breakages or damage to the chalet during your stay. This amount will be released no later than 7 days after departure if the chalet was vacated in perfect order. Please understand this is not replacing the liability insurance. You still need to have one.
What is a 3rd party liability insurance?
We ask all our clients to be in possession of a 3rd party liability insurance when signing our T&C. This is an insurance for greater damage to the property. Should you have difficulty to find such an insurance, please get in touch and we can guide you in the right direction.
Can I bring my pet?
In general all our chalets are not pet friendly. But in some cases we can make an exception. Please do get in touch and we can see what we can do for you. In the event where we allow dog in the chalet, the security deposit will be raised and extra costs may be incurred.
Are there any extra beds available?
The description of each chalet states the exact number of persons allowed and normally we do not allow extra persons to stay. However, should your party increase in size, get in touch and we will see whether it is possible to add an extra bed. Please understand that there are penalty payments in place if you bring more persons than allowed in to the chalet without our consent.
Some of our party have dropped out, but we already paid the local tourist tax?
No problem, we will refund you the overpaid local tourist here in resort.
What if we want to change our booked chalet or have to move the dates?
The 30% non-refundable deposit indicates that the booking is confirmed. Changing a booking within the same chalet may be possible sometimes even without any extra cost. To change a confirmed reservation to another chalet is unfortunately not possible. The 30% non-refundable deposit will be lost and a new reservation will have to be issued. However, any request for changes will be carefully reviewed together with the owner.
Do you accept American Express?
Unfortunately, Alpine Comfort does not accept American Express.
