Chalet Condor — Under 10 Minutes from Haute-Nendaz and the Lift

Chalet Condor sits in a quiet spot under ten minutes’ walk from both the centre of Haute-Nendaz and the Tracouet lift station — closer to the lift itself than any other chalet in the portfolio, and close enough to the village that you won’t need the car for dinner. Unlike the Les Clèves chalets, Condor is directly accessible by car, with no separate winter route to plan around.

Across three levels and 250m², five bedrooms sleep 10 guests over three bathrooms. The open-plan lounge and dining area is built around a central wood-burning fireplace, with a separate small TV room with DVD player for a quieter evening, and direct access from the lounge and kitchen out to the terrace and jacuzzi. The kitchen is large and fully equipped, with a Nespresso machine and proper raclette and fondue sets.

This chalet is non-smoking. Small and medium-sized dogs are welcome on request, subject to the owner’s approval — send us a note about your dog when you enquire. We’re not able to accept cats.

The Sauna & Jacuzzi

• Sauna, private to Bedroom 3’s own bathroom
• Private outdoor Jacuzzi on the terrace, for your group alone — not to be confused with the jacuzzi bath (a whirlpool bathtub) in the Bedroom 1/2 bathroom
• By local regulations, the terrace Jacuzzi can’t be used after 10pm
• Please shower before getting in — sunscreen, insect repellent and make-up cloud the water fast, and a Jacuzzi that needs extra cleaning as a result is emptied and cleaned at the guest’s expense
• Jacuzzi drained and refilled on changeover day for hygiene, so it may not be warm on your first evening
• In summer, the Jacuzzi is available on request

Chalet Condor in Summer

Being five minutes from the village matters just as much once the snow’s gone — an evening in Haute-Nendaz doesn’t need the car, and the same walk to the Tracouet lift takes you straight up to the trails above the resort for a day’s hiking. Come back to the terrace and the Jacuzzi, available on request through the summer. From CHF 4,500 per week, or CHF 3,800 for a short 1–4 night stay.

Getting There & Parking

A car isn’t essential — Condor’s location means you can walk to the village, the lift and the ski bus.

Parking: two spaces at the chalet, one of them a garage.

In winter, winter tyres are mandatory and snow chains are recommended if you’re not in a 4×4. The chalet is directly accessible by car all year.

Skiing from Chalet Condor

Chalet Condor isn’t ski-in/ski-out, and the location does the honest work instead: it’s under ten minutes’ walk from both the Tracouet lift and the centre of Haute-Nendaz, with a free ski bus close by too.

Our own recommendation: rent a ski locker at the télécabine for the week. Leave your skis and boots there overnight, and you can walk or take the free bus to and from the chalet in your normal winter shoes — no carrying boots up and down in the snow.

The chalet is directly accessible by car, with winter tyres mandatory and snow chains recommended for two-wheel-drive vehicles; a 4×4 gives you more comfort and ease around the resort.
